Well the first day of vacation is done
and it went as perfect as I could have wished. He travel went
smoothly and I got onto the ship by 1:00 pm had a geat lunch nice
plump scallops on the buffet – Yum. Got unpacked before the
muster drill and afterward went up onto the deck for sail away. The
weather was beautiful. Clear blue skies and not too hot. Had a lot
of fun dancing. Then to shower and dinner and a few shows.
I have never sailed on the Caribbean
Princess before. It's one of the older ships in the Princess fleet
and it IS showing its age a bit. That being said I like it. The
layout is just different enough to make it seem novel. The Comedian
at the Welcome aboard show was very good - I cant wait to see his
full show. There's a great guy in the Piano bar as well – fun with
a lot of participation.
It's been a great day but a long one as
well. Tomorrow is a day at sea so relaxation is the plan.
